Torque Drift 2 Enhances Gaming Experience with New Car Models and Motorverse Integration
According to a recent update from Animoca Brands, the game studio Grease Monkey Games (GMG) has rolled out the official 0.9 update for their popular drift racing simulator, Torque Drift 2 (TD2). This update introduces a range of new features and enhancements, available for PC on the Epic Games Store.
The version 0.9 update includes new car models from iconic brands such as Nissan, Toyota, and Honda. Players can now choose from Nissan R33, Toyota Chaser JZX100, Toyota MK4 Supra, Honda S2000, and Honda Civic Type R, among others. The update also brings a new game mode called “Freestyle,” allowing players to showcase their drifting skills across different circuits.
Key highlights of the update include multiplayer leaderboards, weekly rewards in the form of the REVV token and Torque Funds (ToFu), and a revamped in-game shop for easier access to new cars and parts.
Furthermore, Torque Drift 2 has integrated with Motorverse, a digital ecosystem supported by Animoca Brands, promoting digital vehicle ownership and collaborations in the automotive industry. Players can now use the REVV token to purchase in-game assets across the Motorverse ecosystem.
